The dog owner, identified as Vera, told police her dogs were on a leash during the accident. Charvet disputed this claim to authorities. He later filmed video that allegedly shows the same woman walking her dogs without leashes hours after the incident.
The video obtained by TMZ appears to support Charvet's version of events. The footage could become key evidence in determining fault and potential liability in the case.
Charvet has denied fleeing the scene after the accident occurred in the Malibu area.
