Donnie Yen Begins Filming 'Caine' John Wick Spinoff Movie

The untitled film centers on Caine, the blind assassin character Yen played in John Wick: Chapter 4. Yen will both reprise his role and direct the standalone Lionsgate movie.
The project was first announced at CinemaCon 2025, about one year before filming started in April 2026. The story takes place after the events of John Wick: Chapter 4.
