Former MrBeast Employee Lorrayne Mavromatis Sues Company for Sexual Harassment
Lorrayne Mavromatis, a former employee of YouTube star MrBeast's company Beast Industries, is suing over claims of sexual harassment and wrongful firing after she returned from parental leave. She says company leaders harassed her and demoted her when she complained.

Lorrayne Mavromatis worked as a social media staffer for Beast Industries, the company behind YouTube star MrBeast's channel with over 330 million subscribers. She filed a lawsuit claiming company leadership sexually harassed her during her employment.
Mavromatis says she was demoted after complaining internally about the harassment. She also claims the company violated federal law by expecting her to work during her parental leave, which is supposed to be protected time off.
The company fired her after she returned from parental leave, which she argues was wrongful termination in retaliation for her complaints.
Beast Industries denies the claims and provided documentation showing Mavromatis received the employee handbook outlining parental leave policies in March 2025. The company calls the lawsuit an unfounded attack.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has faced other workplace controversies this year involving former employees and business practices.
This case highlights workplace protections for new parents and sexual harassment victims. If you're pregnant or planning kids, this shows what employers legally cannot do when you take family leave.
The lawsuit will proceed through federal court. Watch for Beast Industries' formal legal response and any settlement discussions.
