Hugh Bonneville Narrates Sherlock Holmes Podcast Series Starting April 27

Hugh Bonneville, known for his roles in Downton Abbey and the Paddington films, has recorded a complete narration of Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles for audio podcast company Noiser.

The classic Sherlock Holmes mystery will be released as a nine-episode series starting April 27. Bonneville reads directly from Conan Doyle's original text, which first published 125 years ago.

The story follows Holmes and Dr. Watson investigating the mysterious death of Sir Charles Baskerville and the legendary curse of a giant black hound threatening the Baskerville family on the moors of Dartmoor in Devon.

Noiser specializes in historical podcasts and has previously worked with high-profile narrators. The series will be available on major podcast platforms including Spotify.

This continues Bonneville's recent work in audio storytelling, as he has also narrated other Sherlock Holmes short stories for the same production company.
