Nobody Wants This Season 3 Adds Sarah Silverman, Andrew Rannells
Netflix announced nine new actors for Season 3 of "Nobody Wants This," including Sarah Silverman and Andrew Rannells. The show's creator Erin Foster will also join the cast as an actor.
Netflix revealed Wednesday that nine actors will join the third season of its hit romantic comedy "Nobody Wants This." The biggest names include comedian Sarah Silverman and Broadway star Andrew Rannells.
Keyla Monterroso Mejia, known for "Abbott Elementary," also landed a recurring role. The show's creator Erin Foster will step in front of the camera for the first time, joining the cast as an actor.
Rannells gained fame in Broadway's "Book of Mormon" and HBO's "Girls." Silverman has starred in comedy specials and films like "Maestro." Monterroso Mejia recently appeared in "The Studio" alongside her "Abbott Elementary" work.
The romantic comedy follows a podcast host who falls for a rabbi. It became a surprise hit for Netflix, leading to quick renewals for multiple seasons.
The popular rom-com was one of Netflix's biggest hits, and adding well-known comedic actors signals the streaming service is investing more in the show. Fans of the series get fresh faces while the creator stepping in front of the camera shows growing confidence in the project.
Netflix has not announced a premiere date for Season 3 yet.
